Teresa began her career in advertising and marketing more than 20 years ago where her focus was on market research and branding. She specializes in creating strategic marketing plans, forecasting industry trends and writing action plans, developing partnerships, and building brands from the ground up. Her clients included well-known companies such as SKYY Vodka, Nordstrom, Jones New York, Hard Rock Hotel. She is the founder of www.TangoDiva.com, one of the world’s largest social networks for women solo travelers. There, she led the way in market research about women travelers, changing the way companies marketed to women. Her clients included Club Med, Miraval Spa, MBT Shoes, The RealReal, Marriott Hotels, and many others.
In 2007, she authored Fly Solo: The 50 Best Places on Earth For a Girl to Travel Alone (Penguin Books). In 2013, she wrote Body, Mind, and Solo: 7 Keys to Conquering the World Alone (Balboa Press-Hay House).
Teresa has spoken at numerous conferences including the American Marketing Association, PR Summit, Financial Women’s Association, NAWBO, Asian Women in Technology, and many others.
